Simulador de realidad virtual con sensores hápticos para concientizar sobre el acoso a mujeres en el trasporte publico
Resumen
El acoso a las mujeres en el transporte público es una de las principales expresiones de violencia de género que ocurre prácticamente en todas partes del mundo. Tanto el acoso como la violencia sexual que pueden sufrir son problemáticas que la sociedad ha ido normalizando a través de los años. A pesar de diversas campañas sociales que los gobiernos implementan para combatirlo, es un problema que va en aumento, llegando al grado de preferir incentivar el uso de vehículos particulares para reducir los niveles de acoso y violencia en el trasporte público. Para generar un cambio en el comportamiento de las personas, se necesita reflexionar sobre las acciones que generan algún tipo de acoso y violencia, así como las consecuencias que causan en las víctimas. Por tal motivo, el presente texto trata sobre el desarrollo de un simulador basado en realidad virtual que incluye sensores hápticos en distintas partes del cuerpo para que los usuarios, enfocado principalmente a hombres, puedan ver, escuchar y sentir lo que sufre una mujer cuando es acosada dentro del transporte público, en específico un autobús. El grado de realidad y vivencia por parte de los participantes es medido por medio de su sonrisa, destacando los cambios que sufre de acuerdo a los sucesos que van experimentando, comprobando que sienten y comprenden la problemática. Con ello se genera conciencia sobre los padecimientos que pueden causar estas acciones y contribuye a ir evitándolas gradualmente.
