Resumen biográfico

A Medicare Supplement (also called "Medigap Insurance") policy is private health insurance coverage specifically created to supplement the Original Medicare Strategy. Medicare Supplement policies may also cover certain things that Medicare does not cover. A supplement policy is not a "Medicare Benefit" (like an HMO or PPO) due to the fact that it's not a method to get Medicare advantages. In some states, like Texas or Louisiana, you might be able to purchase another type of Medicare Supplement policy called Medicare SELECT. Medicare SELECT policies typically cost less than other Medicare Supplement policies, nevertheless, if you do not use a Medicare SELECT hospital or medical professional for non-emergency services, you will have to pay some or all of what Medicare does not pay.
