Digital marketing is not only now accessible and used by large brands, but also small and medium businesses are learning and adapting to use online marketing to grow. However not all small businesses are using social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation and various digital marketing tools available. A good example is Google Business, though being free and readily available there are still a significant percentage of businesses that do not have it. It’s often the sole trader or small businesses that miss out on digital marketing that could significantly grow their business online. Digital is changing, staying current and keeping updated on changes is getting harder. The gap between those businesses being digitally capable of using online marketing and those who aren’t is widening. One thing to think of is it’s never to late to explore digital marketing as a small or medium size business. The learning curve isn’t getting easier but there is a lot of help out there.
