I am an interior designer. Interior designers/decorators are creative yet logical thinkers who understand what it takes to pull a room together into a cohesive, beautiful and most importantly, functional space. If people ask for your decorating advice, then consider it the ultimate compliment, that you have the creative eye required to create someone’s dream home. If you have the ability to see the potential in the most dilapidated looking house when everybody else thinks it's useless, or a ‘tear down’ as we say, then you are on the right track to nurturing your own potential as an interior designer. That's how I found this path, by transforming homes with years of neglect, with little apparent value, into dream homes. To become an interior designer you'll need specific coursework such as interior design, also helpful. It's a rewarding field for sure. Now, onward to my wedding day, as a few of you have asked about. I guess I fit the stereotype of the little girl, who dreamed of the perfect wedding, and who swooned over many photos of gorgeous bohemian wedding dresses. I finally got engaged, I was beyond thrilled. It was finally time for wedding dress shopping, and I immediately reached out to she-will-be-loved. Last year, my cousin got her dress at their New York location and I was blown away by the dresses, and most importantly, that the designer herself made sure the dress was fitted to perfection. I knew then, that she-will-be-loved would create my dream dress. And thankfully, they now have a location in Los Angeles, where I now live. Finally the day came, and I was able to book an appointment for me, the bride, yay! Trying on the samples and dresses, helped me decide on, and pick THE dress, which I had customized into one dress design, to include all the details I loved. The atmosphere at she-will-be-loved is full of magic and the service is excellent. I enjoyed discussing the design of the to-be wedding dress with the designer, who was always patient and kind. When I saw the finished dress, I burst into tears of pure joy. Yes I was an emotional bride to be, :) And I want to again, thank the entire she-will-be-loved team for making my wedding dress all that I’d dreamed of.
